What types of files can I share with Ricly Upload & Share?

Any file type — videos, PDFs, Figma files, ZIP archives, images, audio, documents, and more. You can also right-click entire folders: Ricly zips them automatically before upload.

Do recipients need to create an account to download?

No. Recipients click your link and download directly — no sign-up, no Ricly account, no friction.

What happens when a link expires?

The link becomes inactive and the file is removed from our servers. Free links expire after 3 days, Pro after 30 days, Pro+ after 60 days. You can also revoke a link manually at any time from the menu bar or the app.

How do I know if someone downloaded my file?

Ricly sends you a macOS notification when someone downloads your file. You can also see the download count next to each link in the menu bar or the Upload & Share section of the app.

What is the file size limit?

Free: up to 1 GB per file, 1 GB total storage, 3 uploads per day. Pro: up to 20 GB per file, 20 GB storage, unlimited uploads. Pro+: up to 50 GB per file, 50 GB storage, unlimited uploads.
