This is where the gap opens. Every row above repeats per file: thirty photos means thirty times finding, uploading and downloading. Ricly reads the selection — the menu itself says (30 files) before you click — and runs them with a ceiling on how many go at once, so the Mac stays usable. Some of those services sell a bulk plan; the honest difference is that their step count grows with the pile and ours does not.

What macOS already does, first. Recent versions put a handful of actions straight into the right-click menu — rotate, create a PDF, convert an image, remove a background — and they are free, local and as short as ours. Which of them you see depends on what is enabled under System Settings, Extensions, Finder, which is why many Mac owners have never met them. Where the list stops is everything else on this page: no link to send a large file, no duplicate finder, no metadata cleaner, no audio, and no say in naming or ordering what comes out. Ricly is the same gesture extended to those jobs, in one menu that behaves the same way every time. Finding the file counts as a step on a website, because you have to go and look for it in a picker. Waiting is never counted: they all wait. Sixteen of the seventeen tools run on your Mac and send nothing; Upload & Share is the one that uploads, and it is the one job where everybody does.
