Short answer
iBoysoft MagicMenu turns the right-click menu into a set of file shortcuts: new files, move or copy to a folder, copy path, open in Terminal, plus an app uninstaller, disk space analysis and duplicate finders. Ricly works on the files you select: it compresses PDFs and images, converts HEIC, audio and video, resizes, removes backgrounds, merges PDFs and shares large files, on your Mac. If you right-click mostly for shortcuts, keep MagicMenu. If you right-click to change the files themselves, try Ricly.
Who it’s for: Mac users who compress, convert and share everyday files, and want it done from the Finder.
Shortcuts, or work on the files?
MagicMenu’s image tool converts to JPG, PNG or WebP, and its Compress files option makes ZIP archives. Its feature list doesn’t include PDF compression, audio or video conversion, or background removal. Source: MagicMenu on the App Store and iboysoft.com

What MagicMenu does well, and when to keep it
MagicMenu is strong on organizing files in the Finder. It creates new files in many formats, from Word and Excel to Markdown, Pages and Python, and from your own templates. It moves or copies files to the folders you choose, copies a path, hides files, and opens a folder in Terminal, iTerm2, VS Code and other editors. It also uninstalls apps, analyzes disk space and finds similar photos. It runs on macOS 10.13 and later, has a free Lite version and a Lifetime purchase, and is on Setapp. If those shortcuts are why you right-click, keep it.
Built into your Mac
Right-click a file and choose Quick Actions to rotate an image, create a PDF or convert an image, depending on the file and your version of macOS, with no app to install. To see what’s using your disk, open Apple menu › System Settings › General › Storage.
